Buying A House During The Coronavirus Pandemic is still possible but you must stay within the guidelines. The first couple of steps haven’t changed.

1.) You will have to talk to a lender and get pre-approved. This can all be done via email and telephone.
2.) Once your lender gives us the go ahead we would have to meet and discuss what type of home you are looking for, where you would like that home to be located and how much you want to spend. We can talk over the phone or set up a virtual meeting via Zoom.

3.) When we are clear on your needs we will begin our search? We will send you listings that meet your criteria as soon as they hit the market.
4.) When you find a property that piques your interest we will set up a virtual walk through of the home to see if it is a home that you would like to see in person.
5.) If you decide you would like to view the home we will set up a showing with the following City Of Los Angeles safety protocols in place:
• Showings should be limited to serious potential buyers who are either pre-approved or have submitted a contingent offer.
• The in-person showing may only include the Real Estate Agent and no more than 2 visitors, who reside within the same household or living unit, at a time.
• Sellers and/or tenants should temporarily leave the residence / unit during the in-person showing, in order to maintain social distancing.
• During the in-person showing of the property, all social distancing protocols must be adhered to, and protective measures, such as the wearing of gloves, cloth face coverings, and no touching of surfaces must be followed.

6.) If you decide to purchase the property all documents can be signed electronically in the comfort of your home and we will be available via phone to answer any questions

7.) Onsite streaming is available during inspections so you can ask your inspector questions as they come up and you will also receive a detailed report including photos and descriptions via email.
8.) Any documents that require a notary will be brought to you by a mobile notary who will then return the documents to escrow
9.) Once escrow has closed we will deliver the keys to your new home at a time convenient for you.
Buying A House During The Coronavirus Pandemic is not only possible it isn’t that different or difficult. We are here to help you every step of the way.
